The arrest involving the alleged JC Penney burglar was apparently tipped off by a Lafayette Resident.
Police say a Hub City Samaritan making a delivery recognized the suspect`s car and linked it to Houston Resident Hector Castillo.
Called Crimestoppers on the night in question, an individual here in Lafayette was doing some deliveries around 4:30 AM saw the JC Penny`s was robbed and called Crimestoppers.
Castillo is accused of breaking into a number of JC Penney stores across the country, including one in Lafayette, and ripping off large amounts of jewelry from each.
If convicted that Good Samaritan would receive a $1,000 reward
