| | 2/24/2010 - School Burglary | Lafayette Police need your help in connection with a Simple Burglary that occurred the weekend of January 22,2010. The suspects stole several pieces of electronic equipment valued at $10,000. Now Lafayette Crime Stoppers need your help with identifying the suspect.
The suspects forced their way into the school through classroom windows. Once inside, they stole three 1- Mac computers, 2-tripods, 1-camcorner, 1-helmet camera and 1-fish eye lens. Police investigators believe several suspects were involved with committing this burglary. If you can help solve this crime, call our tips line at 232-8477.

| | 1/15/2010 - Cigarette Bandit | Lafayette police are hoping a tip from the public can help them nab a shoplifter suspected of stealing more than $500 worth of cigarettes.
According to a news release, the man has stolen smokes from six local convenience stores. The thefts have been occurring since late October.
In each theft, the man approaches the sales counter a requests a carton of cigarettes. When the cigarettes are placed on the counter, the suspect grabs them and runs out of the store, then drives off in a dark-colored pickup truck.
Anyone with information on the incidents or the identity of the suspect is asked to call the Lafayette Police Department or Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS.

| | 1/8/2010 - Armed Robbery at Motel | Lafayette Police Need your help in connection with an armed robbery that occurred on Tuesday December 29, 2009 at 7:47pm. The robbery was captured on surveillance video. Now Lafayette Crime Stoppers need your help with identifying the suspect.
The suspect enters the business with a ski-mask over his face brandishing a semi-automatic Handgun. The suspect runs up to the clerk, points a weapon at her and demands money. He is described as a white male, 5`7"-5`10", 160-175lbs with a tattoo on his right forearm wearing blue jeans and a grey t-shirt. The suspect receives an undertermined amount of cash from the business and flees.

| | 11/20/2009 - Burglary | Lafayette Police need your help in connection with several burglaries that occurred during the month of November. The crimes were reported by company employees. Now Lafayette Crime Stoppers need your help with identifying the suspect.
The homes are being constructed by Habitat for Humanity on Gilman Road. Contractors are working at the site until late in the evening. Once they leave, someone breaks into the homes and steals power tools. The crimes are occurring betweent the hours of 5 pm and 6 am.

| | 8/21/2009 - Downtown Graffiti | Lafayette Police needs your help in connection with several cases of criminal damage to property. The crimes occurred during the summer of 2009. Now Lafayette Crime Stoppers needs your help with identifying the suspects.
Several businesses and public property have been tagged with spray paint (graffiti) in the downtown area. Law enforcement personnel have continually searched for the suspects responsible for this damage with no success. The damage is annoying, an eyesore and very expensive to remove. At every location tagged, the suspect used multiple colors to commit the damage, leaving no indicators for idenity.
