12/18/2008 - Walgreen Theft

Lafayette Police needs your help with identifying two suspects wanted in connection with a theft.  The crime occurred Tuesday November 11, 2008 at 4:16 pm.  Now Lafayette Crime Stoppers need your help with identifying the suspect.

The two suspects enters Walgreens and steal a camcorder valued at $140.00.  They are described as a white male 30-45, 5`10" to 5`11", approximately 190 lbs and a black male, 35-45, 6` to 6`2", wearing blue jeans a white t-shirt and a baseball cap.  Surveillance video captured an image of the suspects committing the crime.

12/11/2008 - Scott Barn Break-In

Crime Stoppers needs your help to catch the suspects who broke into a barn and horse trailer in Scott.  Sometimes during the evening hours of Saturday, November 15th or the early morning hours of Sunday November 16th, a barn and horse trailer located at 1242 Renaud Drive in Scott was broken into.  The suspects broke the glass to the tack room door and cut a screen to gain entry into the horse trailer.  Once inside they stole numerous horse related items including two saddles, one being a cowboy tack cutting saddle.  The other a coats cutting saddle.

11/14/2008 - Walgreen Theft

Lafayette Police Investigators need your help with identifying a suspect wanted in connection with several thefts.  The crimes begin in late August at several Walgreen locations in Lafayette.  Now Lafayette Crime Stoppers need your help with identifying the suspect.   The suspect rides up on a bicycle and enters the store and steals different items each incident.  He is described as a light skinned black male, wearing coveralls in several of the thefts. The suspect has been seen more frequently at the Moss Street store.  If you can help identify this man, call our tips line at 232-8477.  All callers remain anonymous.

 

 


10/16/2008 - Cajundome Crime

CRIME STOPPERS NEEDS YOUR HELP TO CATCH THE THREE INDIVIDUALS WHO DAMAGED PROPERTY AT THE CAJUN DOME

ON MONDAY OCTOBER 6TH AT APPROXIMATLEY 9:20PM THREE BLACK MALES ENTERED THE CAJUNDOME THROUGH AN OPEN DOOR AT THE REAR OF THE COMPLEX. AFTER CHECKING THE BUILDING AND CONFIRMING THAT IT WAS EMPTY THE SUSPECTS STARTED THREE FORKLIFTS AND DROVE THEM AROUND THE ARENA FLOOR. DURING THE COURSE OF THIS JOYRIDE THE SUSPECTS DAMAGED EUQUIPMENT THAT WAS ON THE FLOOR OF THE BUILDING. THE SUSPECTS ARE THREE BLACK MALES RIDING BICYCLES AND APPEARED TO BE TEENAGERS.

9/26/2008 - Burglary

Lafayette Police need your help with identifying a suspect wanted in connection with a burglary.  The crime occurred September 1, 2008 the evening of Hurricane Gustav.  Now Lafayette Crime Stoppers need your help with identifying the suspect.

The suspect is depicted in this photo using a Carencro Middle School football helmet to bash the front door of the store. Once inside, he stole several cartons of Kool cigarettes and two botles of liquor (Evan Williams). The suspect was on foot and possibly lives in a nearby subdivison.
